DESCRIPTION:NFCC PPE Conference\n12th – 13th May\, Crowne Plaza\, Nottingham \nWe are delighted to confirm that our next PPE Conference will take place on  the 12th and 13th May. \nThe event will begin with registration and networking at 9.30am on the 12th with the conference sessions starting at 10:30am. A networking dinner will take place on the evening of the 12th\, and the conference will end by 3:30pm on the 13th May. \nA draft agenda is available to view and download here and highlights are below: \n\nPFAS in PPE\nNational Fire Fighters PPE Project update\nWomen in the Fire Service perspective\nAcademic PPE research\nAsian Fire Service Perspective\nHow clean is clean? The risks – an academic viewpoint\n\nThis conference content is intended for those in Procurement\, Health and Safety and Managers\, but we welcome anyone with an interest in the content.  If you know of people in your organisation who have never attended an NFCC event and would benefit from attendance\, please pass the information on. \nSuppliers to the sector \nWe will be offering the opportunity for suppliers to the sector to promote their products and brand alongside the conference. Information on event sponsorship and exhibiting is available on the link and can be booked in the ticket options. \nNFCC PPE Conference Sponsorship Form 25 \nImportant Booking Information: Please do not book tickets that state ‘Bookable by NFCC Staff only’ – these tickets are for speakers and can only be booked by the NFCC events team. SUMMARY:NFCC PPE Conference 2024
DESCRIPTION:This year’s NFCC PPE Conference comes at a pivotal time for firefighting PPE as two national PPE contract arrangements shortly come to the end of their life. As a result\, a significant number of Fire and Rescue Services will be looking to access new arrangements for the provision and care of firefighting PPE whilst seeking to address the many challenges facing PPE and the wider concerns surrounding fire contaminants. \nThe conference will bring together senior leaders\, PPE managers and procurement colleagues from across the sector to openly discuss the challenges\, listen to informative research outcomes and hear from experts about new and emerging developments. Conference will also update on the current progress of the National Firefighters PPE project which will look to establish accessible contracts for all Fire and Rescue Services across the sector with modern fit for purpose PPE drawing upon all the latest research\, development and thinking. \nA draft agenda for the conference is now available to view here (Please note the draft agenda is subject to change).  The event will begin at 10am on 13th and conclude by 3.30pm on 14th. \nIf you would like to discuss attendance please email the team at events@nfcc.org.uk \n        \nImportant Information: Please do not book tickets that state ‘Bookable by NFCC Staff only’ – these tickets are for speakers and can only be booked by the NFCC events team.
