DESCRIPTION:NFCC Prevention and Protection Conference\n14th – 15th November 2023\, Radisson Blu Hotel\, East Midlands Airport \nWe are delighted to confirm this years Prevention and Protection Conference will take place on 14th and 15th November. \nFollowing previous years formats the event will begin with registration and networking at 11.30 am on 14th with the conference sessions starting at 1pm. This year we will see opening and closing sessions each day for all delegates and in between those sessions there will be breakout sessions focussing specifically on prevention and protection topics separately. \nThe agenda will be released soon but will feature the following subjects: \n• BSR what have we learned since October\n• StayWise Implementation Toolkit\n• FSO Guidance programme\n• Home Fire Safety visits – our tools to support best practice\n• Remediation enforcement\n• The role and work in the Prevention Regional groups\n• Safeguarding\n• Enforcement review\n• 7 Steps to Preventing Smoking-Related Fires\n• Protection Uplift fund\n• Road Safety\n• PRU Peer Review – How can we support you?\n• Serious Violence Duty\n• Emerging Technology: e-bikes and e-scooters\n• Implementing NFCC Products to support service delivery \nCelebrating Prevention and Protection Awards 2023 \nFor 2023\, we will be hosting the Celebrating NFCC Prevention and Protection Awards which recognises and celebrates the achievements of prevention and protection activity in Fire and\nRescue Services.\nThe presentation of the awards will take place during the networking dinner on the 14th November\, where winners will be announced on the night. By nominating an individual or team\, you will be supporting their skills\, dedication and commitment whilst also helping to raise the profile of prevention and protection work.\nMake sure you register your attendance for the conference to be part of the night. \nHow to nominate? \nFull information on the award categories and nomination can be found in our awards document available here: Celebrating Prevention and Protection Awards 2023\nThe best way to enter is via our online nomination entry form found here. \nPlaces are limited to you are advised to book asap using the book now button on right of this page. \nSuppliers to the sector \nWe will be holding a mini exhibition alongside the conference in the refreshment area for suppliers to the sector who would like to promote their products and brand. The stands are a table top space and you are required to bring any promotional materials with you. The cost of the stand incudes attendance on both days for two company representatives and 2 places at the networking dinner.
