DESCRIPTION:NFCC Data\, Digital and Technology Conference 2025 \n1st-3rd July 2025\, Solihull \nThe Digital\, Data\, and Technology (DDaT) Conference hosted by the National Fire Chiefs Council is a pivotal event designed to bring together senior leaders and practitioners in the fire service sector.   \nWith a focus on digital transformation\, data management\, and cybersecurity\, this conference serves as a platform to explore innovative strategies and technologies shaping the future of firefighting and emergency response.  From transferable examples in other sectors to case studies from our own services\, we’ll hear from those leading the way in the DDaT field.  \nBy harnessing the collective expertise and insights of industry leaders and practitioners\, the conference aims to empower fire and rescue services to meet the evolving challenges of the 21st century effectively.  \nA draft agenda\, subject to change is now available here. \nKey Themes:  \n\nDigital Transformation and Innovation: Sessions under this theme delve into leveraging digital technologies to enhance operational efficiency and safety. \n\n\nData Management and Analytics: This track explores best practices for collecting\, analysing\, and utilizing data to inform decision-making and planning within fire and rescue services.  \n\n\nCyber security: As digitalisation increases within the fire service sector\, ensuring robust cybersecurity measures is paramount. This theme explores threats and how we can be more resilient to them and the opportunities from new technologies. \n\nObjectives:  \n\nKnowledge Exchange: Facilitate knowledge sharing among attendees regarding successful digital transformation initiatives\, data management strategies\, and cybersecurity practices implemented within fire and rescue services nationally and internationally. \n\n\nNetworking Opportunities: Provide a platform for senior leaders\, practitioners\, and technology experts to network\, collaborate\, and forge partnerships aimed at driving innovation and excellence in emergency response. \n\n\nProfessional Development: Offer attendees access to thought-provoking keynote presentations\, interactive workshops\, and hands-on demonstrations to enhance their skills and expertise in navigating the evolving landscape of DDaT within the fire and rescue sector. \n\nAudience:  \nThe conference is aimed at Senior Leaders: Chief Fire Officers and other senior executives responsible for setting strategic direction\, policy and procurement within fire and rescue services and Practitioners: Frontline firefighters and operational staff involved in the implementation and utilisation of digital technologies\, data management systems\, and cybersecurity protocols. The presentation of the awards will take place during the networking dinner on the 1st July\, where winners will be announced on the night. By nominating an individual or team\, you will be supporting their skills\, dedication and commitment whilst also helping to raise the profile of DDaT work. DESCRIPTION:NFCC Members Spring Conference: New opportunities; new perspectives \n7th and 8th July\, Leonardo Royal Hotel\, Oxford \nOur rescheduled dates for the NFCC Spring Conference are confirmed as 7th and 8th July.  We have written out to all who were due to attend in May to transfer tickets and where attendees can’t make the new dates\, we are hopeful colleagues are able to take their places\, so your organisation is still represented.  \nWe have also reopened bookings for those who were not originally booked on and would like to attend the new dates.  \nFormat \nTaking our usual members event format\, the event will begin with networking and registration from 11.30am – 1pm on 19th where lunch will be provided. Conference sessions will take place during the afternoon of the 19th followed by our networking dinner that evening. The conference will resume on the morning of 20th concluded with lunch. \nProgramme Content \nAimed at senior leaders we will be covering a host of hot topics facing the sector over the two days. To include learning from the work with the London Ambulance Service.\nKeynote address from Deputy Asst Commissioner Helen Millichap KPM\, national lead for the National Police Chiefs Council on Violence against women and girls. Helen will share learning from policing and more widely on responses to tackling VAWG and the role of Fire in supporting this.\nInternal launch of the next phase of the NFCC Culture action plan\nResponding to contaminants: Presentation and panel discussion\n\n Event audience \nThe conference is for NFCC Members and is aimed at senior leaders within those organisations. The conference seeks to bring together fire service leaders and those working in the FRS sector to share learning and knowledge\, make new connections\, and ultimately to improve public and firefighter safety.
