Community Safety Evaluation and Quality Assurance Manager – Cambridgeshire Fire and Rescue Service

You will passionately lead and further develop the evaluation and quality assurance of our community fire safety initiatives, with a focus on assessing the effectiveness of current activities in Prevention and Protection, ensuring we adhere to the highest standards, and establishing robust, sustainable evaluation and quality assurance processes.
This role encompasses the exciting opportunity to develop data-driven frameworks, collaborate closely with internal teams to monitor programme impact and quality, and continuously refine our methods to support evidence-based decision-making. Additionally, this role entails the important task of identifying funding opportunities that will empower us to enhance quality improvements and achieve our strategic objectives.

In addition, you will possess the following:
– Educated to A-Level or equivalent with GCSE A-C in English language
– Knowledge of community safety programmes, their aims and objectives specifically within Fire and Rescue services
– Experience of making independent decisions and taking responsibility for consequences
– Evidence of self-motivation and able to work on own initiative without supervision
– Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to develop excellent working relationships and maintain rapport with others.
– Experience in setting up and implementing quality assurance and evaluation strategies and to integrate these into delivery across all community safety teams.
– Experience of developing robust reports along with visual reporting methods to present findings.
– Ability to source, interpret and analyse data to inform future practice
– Ability to develop and implement new practices and methodologies to improve outcomes
– Ability to prepare and present detailed reports of findings for internal and external stakeholders, partners and other interested parties
– Fully proficient in IT packages including windows, office and speciality systems.
Salary: £36,823 - £42,749 per annum
