We are inviting competent personnel at the ranks of Fire Control Operator (Firefighter Control), Leading Fire Control Operator (Crew Commander Control), and Senior Fire Control Operator (Watch Commander A Control) to consider transferring to Hertfordshire Fire Control at their current level of responsibility.

Our fire control personnel are experts in specialist emergency call management techniques, enabling them to assess situations, provide potentially life-saving survival guidance, and mobilise a range of operational resources. Additionally, our team members have the opportunity to receive training for specialist roles or skills, further enhancing their knowledge and expertise.

Essential Criteria:

This opportunity is open to Fire Control personnel who are currently employed by a Local Authority Fire and Rescue Service within the UK, either as a:

· Competent and substantive Fire Control Operator

· Competent and substantive Leading Fire Control Operator (Crew Commander Control)

· Competent and substantive Senior Fire Control Operator (Watch Commander A Control) or Fire Control Officers (Watch Commander B) wishing to enter at a Watch Commander A role.

It is also essential applicants have:

· Evidence of competency in your current role

· Minimum 18-months experience in the rank of Fire Control Operator (Firefighter Control)
