Staff – Data Visualisation Analyst – Northamptonshire Fire and Rescue Service

To provide tools and dashboards to self-serve large, dynamic datasets to an audience of varying data literacy

Job description:

Digital Data and Technology for Northamptonshire Police and Fire are dedicated to providing clear and accurate data to frontline and command personnel.

The Data Visualisation Team specialises in understanding, shaping and delivering data to both organisations derived from large dynamic data sets from many different sources.

Our Team is looking for a creative professional with experience in data transformation, process improvement, data modelling and an eye for user experience/interface design.

In this hybrid role you will be modelling data from source, tackling data quality through business process improvement and ultimately delivering tools and dashboards for practical use by both organisations. You will manage your own projects working with a wide range of departments, each project bringing new and interesting challenges.

You will also be included as a subject matter expert in wider conversations around technology and data within Police and Fire at both a Local and National level.

Experience with data visualisation platforms, such as PowerBi or Qlik, is desirable but not necessary and internal training will be provided.
