SUMMARY:Menopause in Fire Conference 2025
DESCRIPTION:Menopause in Fire Conference \nTuesday 9th September 2025\, The Rep\, Birmingham \nArrival from 9am (refreshments) for a 9.30am start\, finish around 4.30pm \nBy popular demand\, the Menopause in Fire conference is returning for its third year. \nWe’re equally excited that menopause specialist\, author and podcaster\, Dr Louise Newson\, will be joining us again as the keynote speaker and there will be lots of opportunities to ask her questions. \nWe’ll also be hosting a panel of fire service colleagues who will be sharing their personal menopause stories during the popular ‘fireside chat’. This will include experiences of neurodiversity and menopause. \nA draft agenda\, subject to change is now available to view here. As part of the conference is learning from each other\, in the afternoon there will be a number of different table topics for you to choose two\, in half hour sessions. These will be a mix of delegates sharing experiences to help others\, and learning from others. A great networking opportunity too! \nTable topics are still to be confirmed but those being explored include: \n\nWhat should we be doing in workplaces to support employees going through menopause? Learning from others.\nWorkplace adjustments\nFitness and nutrition during menopause\nBetter sleep\nMenopause and neurodiversity\nEasing symptoms – what works for you?\n\nPlease use the booking form to suggest other topics you would be interested in seeing on the day. \nWe are also hoping to organise a very informal networking event the evening before. More details to follow but it will be a great opportunity to meet others ahead of the next day’s conference. \nThe Menopause in Fire conference has received excellent feedback for the past two years and we hope to achieve the same this year!  Places are limited\, so book your ticket soon! \nIf you know of people in your organisation who have never attended an NFCC event and would benefit from attendance\, please pass the information on. \nBooking Details: Please note that tickets will only be available for the conference itself\, we will not be offering accommodation.  Delegates will be responsible for sourcing their own accommodation and there are lots of options to suit all budgets nearby to The Rep Birmingham. The hotel postcode is B1 2EP to assist with finding accommodation. \nImportant Information: Please do not book tickets that state ‘Bookable by NFCC Staff only’ – these tickets are for speakers and can only be booked by the NFCC events team.
