Road Safety

To reduce killed and serious injuries on our roads through collaborative work with partner agencies by supporting and delivering road safety interventions.

We work collaboratively to develop a range of guidance and education to support road risk reduction and promote the adoption of a Safe System approach.

A Road Safety Board has been established, with new regional and thematic working groups being developed in early 2024.

Central to the work of the RSG is the promotion of the Safe System approach to road safety, further details can be found in NFCC’s position statement.
