We are looking for a skilled, adaptable, and enthusiastic individual to join our friendly and supportive team on a permanent basis. While the primary area of responsibility will be Breathing Apparatus (BA), there may be future opportunities for the redistribution of disciplines across the Station Managers within Learning and Development to ensure alignment with organisational needs, workloads, and training delivery.
As the Station Manager, Breathing Apparatus and Station Support you will lead a team to support our people through their training, development and assessments and to achieve their potential. Your successful performance will help to ensure we have a capable and resilient workforce to deliver the services we provide to meet the diverse needs of the communities we serve.
The primary responsibility of this role is to lead and manage the design, delivery and implementation of effective learning and development activity to meet the needs of the operational workforce, assisting learners to gain additional knowledge, understanding and skills that results from the effective planning, design, delivery and assurance of training events that align to organisational policies and procedures, and National Operational Guidance.
