The NFCC Coaching and Mentoring Ethical Code is one of a suite of tools which will sit within the NFCC Leadership hub for Coaching and Mentoring. The work stream aims to create a system for coaching and mentoring that accesses the talents across the sector in a way that provides a cost-effective model for FRSs to utilise, should they wish to take up the opportunity. This code identifies the ethical framework against which all coaching and mentoring activities must be delivered. This document also provides information on what to expect for people undertaking coaching and mentoring, and is designed to enable coaches and mentees to understand what they can expect of their coach or mentor; this document also outlines the professional standards which must be in place whilst undertaking coaching and / or mentoring.
