NFCC Structure

NFCC is led by its members, who inform our strategy and policy through votes at meetings and through the work of committees. The day-to-day work of the organisation is carried out by a dedicated team led by Susannah Hancock, NFCC’s Chief Executive Officer. She works alongside Phil Garrigan, NFCC’s Chair, to ensure that all our work is aligned to the Strategy and Plan, and is carried out efficiently. The scope of NFCC’s work is divided into two Directorates: Service Delivery & Improvement, led by Dan Daly, and Corporate Services, led by Helen Nightingale. These directorates are made up of a team of individuals who work tirelessly to realise the aims of NFCC.

*The National Resilience function is managed and hosted by Merseyside Fire and Rescue Service.
