Consultation of draft Operational Guidance: Major incidents

Closing Date: 12/05/2023

Consultation Status: Closed

The consultation for the review of Operational Guidance for Major incidents has now commenced. The survey will be open for six weeks, and close at midday on 12 May 2023.

What happens after the consultation has closed?

All the consultation responses will be considered by the NFCC Content and Guidance team, with appropriate amendments made. These will be reviewed by the NFCC Operational Guidance Forum, prior to formal governance processes to approve the guidance for publication.

How to participate in the consultation

We recommend that you thoroughly read the draft document and consultation questions before completing your review online. A Word version of the questions has been provided, to enable you to gather your response before completing the survey online.

The change control at the start of the PDF file provides details of and rationale for changes. A tracked changes version has been provided for comparison purposes. However, please use the unmarked version, which has line numbering, when completing the survey.

Please be aware that the hyperlinks to places within this guidance, or to other sections of guidance, may not function currently; this will be addressed at point of publication.

Please provide sufficient detail in your comments for us to determine what content they relate to, along with the line number of the PDF document.

This survey platform will allow you to ‘Save and continue’ completion of your responses. If you use this option, you will be sent an email with a link to enable you to rejoin the survey.

If you have any questions, or experience any difficulties in completing the survey, please email Alex Guthrie.

When you are ready, please click on this link to complete the survey.

Thank you for taking the time to complete the consultation survey. Your views are important to us.
