Data Management Framework (DMF) consultation

Closing Date: 04/09/2023

Consultation Status: Closed

Hello DDaT Community

You are invited to complete the consultation for the Data Management Framework (DMF).

The Data Management Framework has been written by subject matter experts from across the fire and rescue service sector. It is designed to help fire and rescue services to implement the Data Management Fire Standard and to comply with good data management practice and, where appropriate, legal obligations.

Its audience is everyone working within a fire and rescue service, not only those in data governance or data analysis roles. You are welcome to provide a response as an individual, but if responding on behalf of your organisation please ensure all relevant stakeholders are consulted to gain a balanced view.

Your views and feedback are crucial to help us gain insight into whether the DMF has the right content and language, and whether there are any gaps that require further development before final publication. The survey should only take around 20 minutes to complete once you have read the draft documents and watched the short animated video (all linked to from the survey) and will provide us with valuable information that will help us improve the products for use in fire and rescue services.

The consultation survey will remain open until COP Monday 04 September 2023.

If you have any questions about the consultation process or the DMF products, please contact DDaT@nfcc.org.uk

Thank you for your participation.
