Fire contaminants risk assessment – Fire investigation consultation

National Fire Chiefs Council (NFCC) are seeking feedback on a suite of fire contaminants risk assessment templates designed to support fire and rescue services in developing and reviewing local risk assessments. The templates identify common hazards associated with exposure to fire contaminants and provide control measures for services to consider.

This consultation relates to the proposed risk assessment template for fire investigation activities. The assessment addresses the foreseeable hazards associated with fire contaminants encountered during fire investigations and outlines control measures to minimise both direct and secondary exposure.
