Review of Operational Guidance for Incidents involving animals

The draft Operational Guidance for Incidents involving animals has undergone a scheduled review, informed by pre-review research, user feedback and National Operational Learning.

The survey will be open for six weeks and will close at midday on 25 June 2025.

We recommend that you familiarise yourself with the draft guidance and consultation questions before completing your feedback online. A Word version of the questions has been provided, to enable you to gather your feedback before completing the survey online. This must not be submitted instead of completing the online survey.

The change control at the start of the PDF file provides details of and rationale for changes. A tracked changes PDF version has been provided to highlight the changes made. However, please use the unmarked PDF version, which has line numbering, when completing the survey.

Please be aware that the hyperlinks to places within this guidance, or to other sections of guidance, may not function currently; this will be addressed at point of publication. The final version will also undergo proofreading and formatting.
