FIRE Conference 2026

The FIRE Conference returns for 2026 on Thursday 5 November at the newly opened 1 Basinghall Avenue in London. The conference will once again be offering the chance to attend both in-person and online, providing delegates from around the world the opportunity to take part in this leading annual fire safety event.

Delivered by the Institution of Fire Engineers, Fire Protection Association, National Fire Chiefs Council and the Fire Sector Confederation, this one-day conference brings together key voices from the UK and international fire community. Designed for professionals across fire safety, engineering, regulation and the wider built environment, the conference provides a focused platform for insight, challenge and collaboration at a critical moment for the sector. This year’s one‑day programme tackles the most pressing issues shaping policy and practice, with headline sessions including “Is the Building Safety Act working?”, “Driving competence across the sector”, and “What should Government’s 2027 priorities be?”.
