NFCC Prevention Conference 2024 – Professionalism and Partnerships

NFCC Prevention Conference
14th – 15th November 2024, Crowne Plaza, Nottingham

We are delighted to confirm that our next Prevention Conference will take place on 14th and 15th November.

The event will begin with registration and networking at 11.30 am on 14th with the conference sessions starting at 1pm. We will see opening and closing sessions each day for all delegates and in between those sessions there will be breakout sessions. A networking dinner will take place on the evening on 14th, and the conference will end by 2pm on 15th November.

We will be joined by a range of speakers from the NFCC, FRS and partner agencies who will deliver key messages from across all of our Prevention Workstreams. This will include – Organisational Learning, Serious Violence Duty, Community Mental Health, Training for Working with Children and Young People, the review of the Prevention Fire Standard, International focus and lots more. We will also be launching new NFCC Prevention products to support your practice. Plus Fire Cadet Voice will be interviewing our Prevention Leads about their work steams- so get your questions ready!

Celebrating Prevention Awards 2024

For 2024, we return to host the Celebrating NFCC Prevention Awards which recognises and celebrates the achievements of prevention activity in fire and rescue services across the UK.

The presentation of the awards will take place during the networking dinner on the 14th November, where winners will be announced on the night. By nominating an individual or team, you will be supporting their skills, dedication and commitment whilst also helping to raise the profile of prevention work. Make sure you register your attendance for the conference to be part of the night.
