E Learning Developer – West Sussex Fire and Rescue Service
Working Pattern: Full-time, 37 hours per week.
Contract: Permanent.
Location: Horsham Fire Station, a typical week will combine homeworking with attendance at the office or visits around the County. This is led by the needs of the service.
As an E-Learning Developer, you will be essential in delivering training to keep Wholetime and Retained operational personnel competent and up to date in their core disciplines.
You will play a pivotal role in crafting innovative training packages and strategies whilst enhancing our policies. You will elevate the experience of our diverse audience. You’ll be at the forefront of empowering our staff and partner organisations with cutting-edge resources and knowledge.
Working on a range of large and ongoing projects, you will need determination and good time management skills to effectively co-ordinate resources and equipment, and work collaboratively to deliver positive outcomes on time.

Thorough knowledge in ADAPT web authoring tool to adapt and/or develop training packages to deploy onto website.
Experience in managing/maintaining LMS environments.
Experience in conducting high level technical research and contributing to the development of strategic e-learning plans and policies.
Experience and confidence in dealing with people and the ability to establish credibility at all levels of the organisation.
Excellent IT knowledge.
Experience with video and graphic editing tools.
