On-Call Crew Manager (Henley in Arden) – Warwickshire Fire and Rescue Service

The successful candidates will need to be enthusiastic for the On-Call team, a strong team player, culturally aware with excellent communication skills and can work in a dynamic environment.

Key Requirements –

In accordance with the current Recruitment – Operational Promotion Pathway Service Order, applications are welcomed from:

Wholetime &/ On-Call Firefighters & Wholetime Crew Managers who meet the Pre-requisite requirements criteria below & can maintain a WFRS On-Call Nights Crew Manager Contract.

Supervisory Manager Level:

Substantive within their current role, one role below the position being applied for.
Competent against the full role map within their current role and in maintenance for all elements of NOS.
In receipt of the requisite IFE examination or internal gateway examination.
Existing Crew Managers to be in receipt of the relevant Incident Command Level 1 assessment (not applicable to Firefighters seeking promotion).
Must not have a live disciplinary sanction placed against them from a formal disciplinary process

IFE Requirements:

Crew Manager – IFE Lev 3 Certificate, Operations and Incident Command

Candidates who require the “Internal Gateway Examination” must achieve a “Pass” prior to Stage 3 of the process.
