The NFCC is seeking a CFO representative from Council to sit on the NFCC Service Delivery, Change and Investment Board (SDCIB). The role will replace that previously occupied by Rick Hylton as he steps into his Committee Chair and Steering Group role.

The SDCIB works across the NFCC portfolios, programmes and projects to: review new investment and change proposals inc. business cases; review stage-gate recommendations and provide scrutiny and review progress against business plan. The SDCIB then makes recommendations to Steering Group and Council.

The Board meets every 2 months, for 2 hours, via Teams.

The SDCIB comprises of the NFCC Chair, Senior Leadership Team (SLT), 3 Chief Fire Officers and 2 members from the wider NFCC membership. The team also invites a number of standing professional advisers to support inclusive, effective and informed decision-making from a range of key functions within the organisation.
