The NFCC enforcement register provides details of statutory notices served by various Fire and Rescue Authorities under the Regulatory Reform (Fire Safety) Order 2005 (as amended) (Fire Safety Order). There are 3 types of notices Alterations Notice Enforcement Notice and Prohibition Notice.
For each notice type, the reason for serving the notice is given. In respect of Enforcement notices this will be the relevant article of the Fire Safety Order or regulation (made under article 24) which has not been complied with. For example A9 refers to the Fire Safety Order article 9 Risk Assessment, R10 refers to the Fire Safety (England) Regulations 2022 regulation 10 Fire Doors.
Further information about statutory notices can be found on the government website Fire Safety Order: enforcement and sanctions for non-compliance

Searching the Register
There are a number of ways to search for information.
Each column can be sorted in ascending or descending order by clicking on the arrow within the column heading.
At the bottom of each column, an additional filter can be applied. For example, if you want to see all enforcement notices served by Avon Fire and Rescue Service, enter ‘enforcement’ in the ‘notice’ column and ‘avon’ in the ‘FRS’ column.
If you are looking for something more specific, such as a premises, you can use the Search facility, located just above the column headings on the right of the page. The results will display any matching entries using data across all fields.
You will also find dedicated buttons which allow you to print, download or copy the information held on the register.
