Smart motorways

Following discussions with National Highways, their publication ‘Smart Motorways National Operating Agreement’ has been withdrawn. References to Smart Motorways in the Operation Guidance have been removed, as they form part of what is now referred to as Managed Motorways. These appeared in the hazard Roadways incidents and the control measure Attendance at roadways incidents, including one tactical action that has been removed.
