Fires in tunnels - training specification

On 22 October 2025, the Operational Preparedness, Response and Resilience Committee approved change request O.G. CC 114 – Fires in buildings – Fires in tunnels.

This change request is to reinstate a control measure in the training specification, which had been inadvertently lost following work on a different section of guidance. This was originally titled Ventilation systems but has been retitled Subsurface ventilation systems for clarification.

The counterpart control measure in the Fires in buildings guidance has also been retitled.

There are no changes to the strategic actions as a result of this change request.
