Site-Specific Risk Information

On 22 October 2025, the Operational Preparedness, Response and Resilience Committee approved change request GTI CC 001. This change request addresses some of the Grenfell Tower Phase 2 recommendations at a high level, including:

• Reference 113.43
• Reference 113.59
• Reference 113.60
• Reference 113.62

The Site-Specific Risk Information control measure has been updated to include:

• Access and familiarisation with lifts
• Impact of building size or complexity on radio communication
• Understanding of water supply systems including the different types of hydrants
• Establishing and testing of water management plans at high-risk premises

The opportunity has also taken to update the Site-Specific Risk Information control measure to include recent updates to the Operational Guidance, such as the Industry guidance and the rail content of the Transport guidance.

As part of this change request SA-17409 has been amended from ‘Fire and rescue services should’ to ‘Fire and rescue services must’.
