Fire contaminants risk assessment – At operational incidents consultation

National Fire Chiefs Council (NFCC) are seeking feedback on a suite of fire contaminants risk assessment templates designed to support fire and rescue services in developing and reviewing local risk assessments. The templates identify common hazards associated with exposure to fire contaminants and provide control measures for services to consider.

This consultation relates to the operational incidents risk assessment, which provides best practice guidance on control measures to mitigate exposure to toxic fire contaminants that employees may encounter during fire and rescue activities.
