Fire and rescue service (FRS) Prevention teams from across the UK were recognised at NFCCās Celebrating Prevention Awards 2025 last week.Ā
The Awards recognise the incredible work fire and rescue services are undertaking across road, home and water safety, as well as children and young people and partnership working, and reflected the theme of this yearās NFCC Prevention Conference āLead, Innovate and Champion.Ā
Now in its fourthāÆyearāÆtheāÆmomentum of excellence has shone through with aāÆrecord-breaking year of 123 award nominations from thirty-four FRSs and a furtherāÆtwenty-eight fire volunteersāÆrecognisedāÆā doubling the number of entries from last year across all categories.āÆĀ
All the nominationsĀ demonstratedĀ some fantastic Prevention practice from FRSs across the country, and the excellence of nominations made the decisions by the judging panels challenging with a great deal of discussion.Ā Ā
