Utilities and fuel distribution and storage review

The consultation for the review of Operational Guidance for Utilities and fuel distribution and storage has commenced. The survey will be open for six weeks and will close at midday on 30 March 2026.

What happens after the consultation has closed?

All the consultation responses will be considered by the NFCC Operational Response and Fire Control Hub, with appropriate amendments made. These will be reviewed by the NFCC Operational Guidance Forum and approval obtained from the NFCC Guidance and Training Scrutiny Panel and the NFCC Operational Preparedness, Response and Resilience Committee prior to publication.
