NFCC Digital, Data and Technology (DDaT) Conference 2026

The Digital, Data, and Technology (DDaT) Conference hosted by the National Fire Chiefs Council is a pivotal event designed to bring together senior leaders and practitioners in the fire service sector. Â

Objectives:Â
- Knowledge Exchange: Facilitate knowledge sharing among attendees regarding successful digital transformation initiatives, data management strategies, and cybersecurity practices implemented within fire and rescue services nationally and internationally.Â
- Networking Opportunities: Provide a platform for senior leaders, practitioners, and technology experts to network, collaborate, and forge partnerships aimed at driving innovation and excellence in emergency response.Â
- Professional Development: Offer attendees access to thought-provoking keynote presentations, interactive workshops, and hands-on demonstrations to enhance their skills and expertise in navigating the evolving landscape of DDaT within the fire and rescue sector.Â
Audience:Â
The conference is aimed at Senior Leaders: Chief Fire Officers and other senior executives responsible for setting strategic direction, policy and procurement within fire and rescue services and Practitioners: Frontline firefighters and operational staff involved in the implementation and utilisation of digital technologies, data management systems, and cybersecurity protocols. If you know of people in your organisation who have never attended an NFCC event and would benefit from attendance, please pass the information on.
Booking OptionsÂ
The conference will begin with registration at 09.00am on 18th with conference sessions starting at 10.00am.  We will be holding a networking dinner with the DDaT awards on the evening of the 18th and the 19th will conclude with refreshments at 3pm. Â
If you are booking an option with no accommodation – i.e. a day ticket we are unable to book separate accommodation for you and you are responsible for booking your own accommodation directly.
You are also responsible to book your accommodation if you wish to stay the night of the 17th June please contact the hotel directly and let them know you are at the NFCC event on the 18th so your room can be linked with our main booking and you will not need to switch rooms.
NFCC Digital, Data and Technology Awards 2026
For 2026, we see the return of the NFCC DDaT Awards which recognise and celebrate the achievements of DDaT activity in fire and rescue services. The presentation of the awards will take place during the networking dinner on the 18th June, where winners will be announced on the night. By nominating an individual or team, you will be supporting their skills, dedication and commitment whilst also helping to raise the profile of DDaT work. For all awards, the nomination should be relevant to activities which took place in the period since June 2025.Â
The categories are as follows:Â
- Inspirational Leader Award
- Outstanding Practitioner Award
- Excellence in Data Award
- Excellence in Digital Award
- Excellence in Cyber Award
- Team of the Year Award

Important:  Please do not book tickets that state ‘Bookable by NFCC Staff only’ – these tickets are for speakers and can only be booked by the NFCC events team.  If you book this option you may be charged an additional admin fee to correct the booking.  The reduced rates are for Fire and Rescue service staff only, any other organisations wishing to attend the event should book the Commercial Ticket.
Bookings can be made via credit card or invoice with a PO number – a PO number is required at the latest 5 days before the event takes place.

Cancellations
Delegates – within 7 working days of the event no refunds can be provided.
Exhibitors – within 7 working days of the event no refunds for accommodation can be provided.
We are unable to accept stand cancellations within 21 workings days of the event.Â
