Digital and Data Developer – County Durham and Darlington Fire and Rescue Service
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Digital and Data Developer to join CDDFRS. We consider ourselves to be a professional, high performing, inclusive and innovative organisation which is well regarded by the communities we serve and the partner organisations with whom we collaborate.
In this role, you will be part of the Digital, Data and Technology Team, supporting the delivery of digital solutions, data products and services across the Service. The team plays a key role in helping CDDFRS make effective use of technology and data to improve organisational efficiency, support evidence-based decision-making and deliver better outcomes for our communities.
We are seeking a proactive and technically skilled individual who can work across digital development, data analysis and systems support. You will help design, develop, maintain and support solutions using technologies such as Microsoft 365, Power Platform, Power BI and SharePoint. You will also work with colleagues across the organisation to understand business needs, develop practical solutions, improve processes and support the effective use of information and digital tools.
This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys solving problems, working with data and technology, and supporting continuous improvement in a collaborative public sector environment. The successful candidate will be able to manage competing priorities, communicate effectively with technical and non-technical colleagues, and apply professional judgement to deliver high-quality digital and data solutions.
In return, the post offers 27 days annual leave rising to 32 days after 5 years, flexible working hours, provision of uniform, sports facilities, car parking and a pension scheme.
