Salary: Grade 3 (*£25,949– £25,989)
*To increase subject to national pay award negotiations for 2026.
Hours: Full Time – 37 Hours per week
Flexi Time Scheme – (accrue up to 13 extra days off a year (pro-rata) on top of your annual leave).

An exciting opportunity has arisen within our People Services section for a People Administrator in the Recruitment & Selection team, based in Headquarters. Our People function is at the heart of an exciting period of transformation, playing a vital role in driving the growth and success of the service. In this role, you will support the People Officer (Recruitment & Selection) in delivering a high-quality, efficient and customer-focused recruitment service to colleagues and stakeholders across the organisation.
About you
To be successful in this role, you will:
Hold an NVQ Level 2 in Business Administration (or equivalent)
Have a good understanding of people processes, particularly within recruitment and selection
Bring proven experience of working with administrative procedures and systems to deliver a high-quality, transactional HR service
Thrive in a busy, fast-paced environment, working collaboratively as part of a small team
Demonstrate flexibility, organisation and a proactive approach to meeting deadlines and team objectives.
Key duties and responsibilities
These will include:
Delivering a wide range of recruitment and selection administration activities across internal and external processes e.g. undertaking right to work checks for all new employees, ensuring compliance with SYFR policy and legislation
Liaising with candidates, hiring managers and people function colleagues to ensure smooth and efficient recruitment processes
Responding to recruitment-related queries, providing a professional and customer-focused service at all times
Completing administrative tasks accurately and efficiently, in line with deadlines, KPIs and People policies.
