Conduct fire safety inspections, audits, and assessments across a diverse range of premises.
Evaluate fire risk assessments and determine the adequacy of fire safety arrangements.
Provide specialist advice and support to housing providers, developers, businesses, building owners, responsible persons, and other stakeholders.
Support investigations and, where necessary, contribute to enforcement activity.
Work collaboratively with building control bodies, housing partners, emergency response teams, and other agencies.
Deliver presentations, awareness sessions, and educational activities to promote fire safety and compliance.
Contribute to the development and continuous improvement of Protection policies, procedures, and professional standards.

Strong analytical and investigative skills.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
The ability to explain complex technical, regulatory, or legal matters clearly and confidently.
Sound professional judgement and a balanced approach to advice, support, and enforcement.
Experience of building effective relationships and working collaboratively with a wide range of stakeholders.
The ability to manage your own workload and prioritise competing demands.
