Training Centre Coordinator – Dorset & Wiltshire Fire and Rescue Service

As a Training Centre Coordinator in our Operational Training department you will:

  • Coordinate the process of programming learning events, and monitor availability and allocation of resources
  • Coordinate course nominations to ensure competence of staff is maintained to agreed service standards
  • Provide guidance to students, send pre-course information and do post course evaluations
  • Work with other departments within the service to achieve the agreed service training outcomes

What makes you our ideal Training Centre Coordinator?

  • 4 GCSE passes – Grade A*- C / 9 – 4, including English and Mathematics or equivalent Level 2 qualification (including L2 functional skills), or higher-level relevant qualification
  • Experience of working in a training or similar environment or providing administrative support to a department
  • Good planning skills and the ability to work to deadlines, whilst maintaining a high level of accuracy and attention to detail
  • Experience of using Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)

Other Information:

  • You must be able to fulfil the travel requirements of the role. This will include occasional attendance at meetings in the Service area.

Salary: £29,064 - £30,518 per annum (rising by annual increments to £30,518)
