NFCC warns of fraud attempts using our name

Multiple instances of fraudsters impersonating the National Fire Chiefs Council (NFCC) and spoofing the NFCC domain have been reported to us.

A number of emails and telephone calls have been made – in some cases impersonating a member of NFCC staff.

The fraud is attempting to acquire a large number of laptops and asking for delivery to NFCC’s London Office. NFCC does not have a physical office in London.

Police have been informed of the attempted fraud and we ask that anyone contacted does not respond to the fraudster directly.
