Culture Action Plan

The NFCC Culture Action Plan is our commitment to work with fire and rescue services and other fire partners to redress this position and firmly establish an inclusive, safe culture. The plan will do this by demonstrating how NFCC will support services to develop effective leadership and behaviours, embed equality diversity and inclusion, find, and nurture diverse talent, and support the health and wellbeing of fire and rescue service staff.

The action plan is also accompanied by several supporting documents, including:

The plan is a dynamic document that will be continually reviewed and adjusted where appropriate as we learn over the coming months. We will continue to engage with stakeholders through the NFCC People, Culture and Leadership Committee, Council, and through the newly formed NFCC External Advisory Group that meets quarterly.

If you have any questions on the Culture Action Plan, please do get in contact with the People, Culture and Leadership programme team at nfccpeople.programme@nfcc.org.uk
