Learning Logs

The Learning Logs have been developed to provide you with the opportunity to reflect and aid the transition of learning into the workplace. They challenge you to consider your current leadership capabilities and highlight any development needs that will help to improve your approach.

Each learning log should be completed individually, and your line managers should regularly review your progress and discuss any additional learning and development needs.

The learning logs provide information on how line managers ‘sign-off’ the learning and the process to follow to inform the NFCC of completion. CMI will then send a certificate of completion.

There may be an opportunity to work with colleagues either in your Service, or neighbouring Services to share best practice, knowledge, skills, and ideas.

These Group Learning Guides offer some suggested activities that will provide the opportunity to share ideas, approaches, and thoughts with colleagues.

These sessions will be facilitated within your Service or with other local Services.
