Blue Light Mental Health Symposium
NFCC are honoured this year to be hosting our annual collaborative Blue Light Mental Health Symposium taking place on 14th January in Birmingham.
Building on previous years we have an informed, immersive programme lined up which will be released shortly. The day will focus on three key areas: culture, family support and suicide prevention and will be made up of a mixture of keynote speakers, workshops and interactive sessions.
A draft agenda is now available Blue Light Mental Health Symposium Agenda with some key programme highlights are listed below:
- Culture Panel sessions including cultural change journeys and experiences
- Creating cultural factors for wellbeing and resilience
- Family support sessions including; Building family support looking at evidence based police research with the Open University, engagement with families and challenges and The Fire Fighters Charity on family support.
- Suicide prevention – expert panel – Data-enabled change; what are recent trials and research telling us, and how can we enact positive change as a result
- Suicide prevention and postvention break out sessions – Prevention; Organisational response and postvention; Individual and community impact
The night prior to the conference we will be hosting a networking event at the venue from 7pm-8pm. All are welcome but please do select the option to attend below if you are attending as we will need to have a list of all attendees on the evening.
The conference ticket doesn’t include accommodation but there are many hotels very close by to suit all budgets.
