National review of community risk methodology across UK Fire and Rescue Service

Data should underpin all aspects of community risk management. The nature of these data influences their effectiveness in assessing community risk across the UK.  To evaluate the data used in community risk management, we first explored the reliability and validity of the data using the coding described in 2.4, before conducting a fine-grained evaluation of the specific data used across UK FRSs. The extent to which the analytical process is suitable, the extent to which the data sources are credible, and the demographic covered by the data sources are shown in Figure 7.
