Administration Team Leader – West Midlands Fire Service

We have a vacancy for an Administration Team Leader. This exciting opportunity will involve overseeing the day-to-day delivery of an administration team.
Reporting to the Administration Manager, you will supervise a team of administrators delivering an effective and efficient administration service to both internal and external customers.
Responsibilities
ensure administration is delivered within organisational policies and procedures
effective management of physical resources (capacity and capability) to support the delivery of administration for internal and external customers
make decisions and give informed advice within responsible area of administration
effective management of allocated financial resources
Experience and skills
previous supervisory experience
must possess and be able to evidence effective verbal and written communication skills
thorough understanding of how the effective and efficient delivery of administration supports the delivery of organisational objectives and meets customer needs
excellent administrator with previous experience in a wide range of administrative tasks
able to prioritise workload to achieve deadlines
able to ‘think differently’ and apply this to improve the delivery of administration for internal and external customers
able to demonstrate and evidence implementation of change which has resulted in a more effective, efficient, economic delivery of administration providing value for money
proficient in the use of a range of Microsoft Office applications, specifically Office 365.
able to anticipate and react to an everchanging environment to ensure customer needs and demands are met and administration is fit for purpose
able to exploit available technology to improve and streamline administration processes and enhance customer experience.
